November 2021 VAT Changes in Ireland
On 12 October 2021, the Minister of Finance announced the extension of the temporarily reduced 9% VAT rate for the hospitality and tourism sector until 31 August 2022.
From 1 September 2022, the VAT rate for the hospitality and tourism sector will return to 13.5%.
